Group C Media, Inc., the new owners of Turf magazine, have announced plans to relaunch the leading publication for landscape professionals. Turf will be reintroduced as a special supplement in the October 2018 issue of Facility Executive magazine, with plans to expand to a standalone quarterly publication in 2019.

In conjunction with the relaunch plans, Ronnie Hall and Dan Ulrich, two green industry veterans, have been named to lead the charge at Turf.

Ronnie Hall, Turf’s new Editor-at-Large, has held various editorial positions in green industry B2B publications over the course of 34 years. He most recently served as Editor-at-Large and Editor-in-Chief of Turf magazine, and has also held editorial positions for Landscape Management, Lawn Care Industry and Athletic Turf.

Ronnie has served on several committees over the years, including the National Association of Landscape Professionals (formerly the Professional Lawn Care Association) and the Sports Turf Managers Association. He’s also served as a board member of the American Society of Business Press Editors, and the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016.

Dan Ulrich, the new Publisher of Turf/LawnSite Network, was most recently Senior Brand Manager for the LawnSite Network. With over a decade of experience in the B2B publishing industry, Dan will be responsible for shaping the print and digital direction of Turf, developing new initiatives, and working with clients on providing cutting-edge marketing solutions.

Prior to his role as Senior Brand Manager for the LawnSite Network, Dan worked for Meister Media, where he served as the Associate Publisher for both the Crop Life and Global Agribusiness Groups. Dan holds a B.A. in Poly Sci from the University of Colorado and earned his MBA at Lake Erie College.
